Experimenting beyond the limits

The raw material: steel

The raw material: steel
Its versatility allows it to adapt to any aesthetic while maintaining its identity in substance. His flexibility lends itself well to supporting the creativity and experimentation typical of Foster. Steel is imagined as a shape, molded and then treated with craftsmanship in the creation of tailor-made projects and finishes: welding, brushing, making the Vintage finish still handmade today. Foster chooses a stainless steel of high quality and above average thickness which allows to obtain more solid products, resistant to corrosion and extremely durable over time. It is an ecological and completely recyclable material. Guarantees maximum hygiene and ease of cleaning.

Balance between hand and machine

Balance between hand and machine
Cutting-edge technologies and the know-how of the past represent the beating heart of Foster. Machines shape steel, but the ability to reach extreme shapes is due to the experience of Foster's steel craftsmen. Through experimentation, Foster coined the Brushed Foster, a signature imprinted on the steel that distinguishes its quality and aesthetics. Depending on the orientation of the brushing, different veins can be obtained from satin to vintage.

New product concepts

New product concepts
Working with steel implies a great deal of experience and knowledge of this fascinating raw material. It is from this that Foster has managed to push the processing beyond the limits, creating not only extreme shapes of the product, as in the case of the * Outline collection, but also innovations such as Skin which integrates into a single drain and overflow body, elements that give they are always separate.

Fumé steel, a new finish

Fumé steel, a new finish
Foster also introduces the new Fumé finish to the range, the result of careful research aimed at obtaining the best possible matte finish, which attenuates the reflection of light, giving greater depth to the colors. Even the sensation that this finish transmits to the touch is completely different, resulting markedly more silky.

The fil rouge of the collection: the PVD

The fil rouge of the collection: the PVD
The products of the Aestetica collection are characterized by precious colors. Each collection is in fact available in the PVD Gun Metal, Copper and Gold variants. This wide range of finishes and colors allows it to lend itself to multiple contexts and to be able to create different combinations. Foster's PVD is not only aesthetic but it is a real treatment that physically colors the material through a sublimation process, which fuses carefully selected metal particles with the surface of the steel, creating a protective barrier with a golden, anthracite or copper depending on the metal powders used.
