Warranty

Foster warranty

Validity and Documentation
Foster guarantees its products for 24 months from the purchase date (EU and non-EU where recognized). The warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and must be proven by a fiscal document (receipt, invoice, or delivery note) identifying the product and the date of purchase/delivery.

Product Inspection and Installation
The customer must check the aesthetic integrity of the product immediately upon opening. Any visual damage must be reported before installation. Installing a product with aesthetic defects implies its acceptance and the waiver of the right to claim for such flaws.

Warranty Exclusions
The warranty covers manufacturing defects but excludes:

  • External piping, accessories, and wear-and-tear components (grids, flame spreaders, knobs, handles, lamps, glass or rubber parts).

  • Installation, adjustment (feet, burners), or connection to utility systems (gas, water, electricity).

  • Damage from transport not carried out by Foster.

  • Improper use, poor maintenance, use of unsuitable detergents (stains or rust on steel), and non-domestic use (bars, restaurants, laundries, commercial activities, communities, offices, etc.).

  • Damage caused by atmospheric agents or domestic system anomalies, or circumstances not attributable to manufacturing defects. Consumer rights against the seller (the direct contractor) under Legislative Decree No. 206/2005 (Consumer Code) remain unaffected.

Assistance and Repairs
During the warranty period, Foster will repair or replace components with original defects free of charge. Repairs are free at Authorized Technical Assistance Centers (CAT). If the user refuses on-site service, the costs of transport to the workshop and redelivery shall be borne by the user. After 24 months, all interventions will be charged according to current rates.

Liability
Foster is not liable for direct or indirect damage to persons, things, or pets resulting from failure to follow instructions, repairs by unqualified personnel, or the suspension of use of the appliance.
