NEW WAVE

New Wave is Foster's sink collection, which makes of movement its main feature. The unusual shape of the drainer shifts the focus point of the sink creating a new shape, as if it were moved by the waves of the sea.

The New Wave sinks, both in built-in and flush-mount version, are characterized by a radiused bottom.

The elegant diamond shape of the bowls’ bottom guarantees optimal water drainage, while at the same time facilitating cleaning.

There isn’t just an aesthetic factor, behind Foster's choice to create a line of sinks with sinuous drainers, but also a crucial functional aspect. In fact, it is precisely the sinuous shape of the drainer with its refined wide radius of connection that facilitates the flow of water.

The exclusive feature of the drainer’s wave breaks the minimalistic rigor typical of square bowls.

It is precisely for this design feature that in 2015 Foster was awarded the Red Dot Design Award, one of the largest and most important design awards in the world.

As for the other collections, the New Wave sinks can also be accessorized with wooden, crystal or HDPE cutting boards; trays; stainless steel colander and dish drainer or grater kit.

 

The New Wave sinks are available in the version with single bowl; single bowl with side drainer or two drainers and central bowl; or two bowls and side drainer.

For all models, the tap counter is equipped with two holes: one for the automatic PA waste-fitting (supplied); the other for the mixer tap.

Regarding the mixer tap, Foster recommends combining the New Wave sinks with the models ½ Circle or Play.
