Foster’s new products for the washing area

The Washing Area – Central Role and Aesthetic Value

The Washing Area – Central Role and Aesthetic Value

When designing a kitchen, it’s natural to focus attention on the elements that immediately catch the eye: the cooktop, furniture finishes, and spatial layout. Yet, there’s one area that often takes a back seat—sometimes even forgotten during the design phase: the washing area.

However, when you stop to think about it, that’s where everything really happens. It’s the first point of contact with the food that will be served at the table, and it’s where dishes return before being put away. At the end of the day, tidying up the kitchen always ends at the washing area. It is, quite literally, the operational heart of the kitchen.

Over the years, Foster has chosen to overturn this perspective, giving the washing area the central role it deserves. Our sinks are not just basins where water flows—they are true design protagonists within the kitchen space. Solutions that combine functionality, aesthetics, and innovation.

This year, at SICAM 2025 we are proud to present new sinks that embody this philosophy, along with an expanded range of finishes for some of our most appreciated collections.

The New Protagonists

G-BLOCK

G-BLOCK

A monobloc stainless steel sink inspired by classic American apron-front sinks, featuring an exposed front panel that enhances its aesthetic presence.
Available in two exclusive finishes—Rock and Wood—G-BLOCK is designed to become a true piece of furniture as well as a fully equipped workstation.

The 250 mm deep bowl is complemented by an accessorized channel that accommodates an Iroko wood cutting board and a Black grid.
A versatile system, suitable for both countertop and flush installation, perfect for those seeking a kitchen with a bold personality.

K-HUB

K-HUB

The result of a collaboration with Architect Ferriani, K-HUB is the evolution of the Milanello collection. It was conceived to offer a smart, space-saving solution for organizing the many accessories that accompany a sink. Here, the sink and equipped channel are no longer separate elements but merge into a single, seamless unit.

Available in brushed stainless steel and the refined PVD Gun Metal finish, K-HUB is designed for 120, 75, and 60 cm bases.

Installing K-HUB means transforming the washing area into the true focal point of the kitchen—no longer just a sink, but an integrated work system.

CASTONE

A new addition to the Aesthetica Collection, the CASTONE sink is designed to perfectly match the CASTONE induction hob, both in line and corner configurations, creating a harmonious dialogue between cooking and washing areas.

The CASTONE design is essential and pure: a no-folding bowl, zero-radius corners, and clean, contemporary lines that express refined minimalism.

Unlike other models, CASTONE does not have an integrated channel, but one can be added as a complement, offering maximum design flexibility. Among the accessories, one stands out: the large round wooden cutting board, which adds a touch of natural warmth to the sink’s architectural precision.

New Finishes

Foster presents at SICAM 2025 new finishes and models that further expand our color and material range.

Galante

Galante
The first sink with an integrated equipped channel now comes in two new exclusive PVD finishes: Champagne and Black Fumé—tones that bring even greater refinement and customization possibilities.

COOKING

COOKING

The COOKING stainless steel sink, which captured attention at SICAM 2024 for its distinctive milled-edge finish, returns this year in an elegant new PVD Copper version.

It’s not just a color variation—it’s a new interpretation of the same design, adding depth and character to transform COOKING into an even more distinctive kitchen centerpiece.

Foster continues to expand its finish range to offer complete personalization of the kitchen space—combining functionality, durability, and beauty.

A Masterpiece of Craftsmanship

A Masterpiece of Craftsmanship

Completing Foster’s exhibition is an island crafted by our sister company Bautek.
More than a simple worktop, it represents the highest expression of Italian craftsmanship applied to stainless steel.

What makes this island special is the interplay of finishes: Fog is paired with PVD Gun Metal, used for the recessed areas housing the KE ARYA induction hob and the Galante sink.
The Rock finish runs along the perimeter and defines the utensil bar, adding tactile contrast and aesthetic depth.

Naturally, the equipped channels are present—because a truly functional kitchen can’t do without them. They’re not accessories; they’re an integral part of how one lives and experiences the kitchen space.

A worktop made of contrasts and harmonies, of surfaces that speak to and complement each other.
