Exclusive finish

Selected steel

Foster Phantom EDGE and Phantom BASE are made of high-gauge, high quality stainless steel selected by Foster to guarantee top performance and durability over time.

The Foster Phantom line is available in different kinds of finish:
  • Foster satin finish
  • Foster PVD
  • Foster Vintage (only for the Phantom EDGE)

Satin finish

Satin finish
The Foster Satin finish represents the maximum expressive form of stainless steel; indeed, this finish gives every part of the bowls and sinks a seamless, perfect look, thus endowing your washing station with a unique and distinctive character.

The Foster PVD steel starts from a satin finished steel, which is then submitted to a special treatment called Foster PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition), which, through a physical process, applies a superior-quality metallic film to the surface, and thus gives three special colors:
  • Gun Metal
  • Copper
  • Gold
With unique features:
  • Exceptional superficial hardness
  • Resistance to wear and abrasion
  • Resistance to corrosion by detergents
  • Solvents and high-acidity food
  • Insensitivity to UV rays
  • Close to zero ecological impact
Unlike many aesthetically similar applications, the Foster PVD treatment is much thicker and more resistant to wear.

Foster Vintage

Foster Vintage is the exclusive finish made in Foster which gives an exclusive antiqued effect to the Foster bowls and sinks; this special finish is obtained by means of a special brushing technique using natural-fibers’ brushes, which confer a unique and distinctive character to the steel surface. The Foster Vintage finish is available also in combination with the Foster PVD treatment, for an even more exclusive result. (the Foster Vintage finish is available only for the Phantom EDGE)
